Published and printed in 1777 by William Curtis. Only 300 copies of this book were issued. The book described the flora found in London and surrounding areas in the mid-18th century. The hand coloured copperplate engravings were by botanical artists such as James Sowerby, Sydenham Edwards and William Kilburn.
