Goyard was established in 1853 by François Goyard. The characteristic chevron pattern was cleverly designed to form a 'Y', representing the three centuries of Goyard and their 'Compagnon de Riviere ancestors'. Each pattern is delicately hand-painted onto a lightweight coated canvas.

Condition Notes: Heavy discoloration, marks, and imprints throughout handle casing. Light wear to exterior bottom corners. Creasing throughout exterior. Light darkening and marks throughout exterior top leather trim. Light marks and wear throughout interior.
